"Mel has motivated me both physically and mentally"

I was in an exercise rut before Mel got my head in the game. I had always gone to the gym and attended classes – body pump, body step, kick boxing, and pilates. I gave them what I thought was my best shot but stopped seeing progress. At the beginning of 2006, I even added spinning to my routine, but still did not see any real results. I thought I was in great shape. I also thought I could eat whatever I wanted and maintain or lose weight. I was wrong. I finally decided enough was enough, not quite sure what led me to the decision except for the fact that I thought I probably needed to change my routine if I was ever going lose weight and change my body fat composition. A friend of mine used Mel to help her improve her speed for marathon running. She suggested I try Mel out for a session to see if we could work together. Boy, was I scared. I certainly wasn’t in the same category as a marathon runner. After my first session I felt that Mel could really help me achieve some goals. After 6 months with Mel, I can honestly say I am in the best shape ever. I was never a runner before, and now I am training for a half marathon. I have gone down two sizes in my jeans. Mel has motivated me both physically and mentally. He has customized my exercise routine to give me just the right amount of challenge, without killing me (at least on most days!). Mel has helped me to reach my goals, and to set a higher standard for my exercise routine. I am no longer just going through the motions at the gym. I think I am finally out of my exercise rut!
